Over the past couple of weeks I have been photographing all the new season Sunglasses. I have now uploaded them onto the Simplysuns website. They consist of Ray-Ban, Ray-Ban Juniors, Ted Baker and Lulu Guinness. We are still expecting Persol and Prada, which should be arriving in the next couple of weeks. As soon as they do I will get them onto the website as well.
You will notice we have expanded our range this year, we hope you enjoy shopping our website.
Any comments are always gratefully received. If there is something you would like, but it is not on the site please contact us, as I maybe able to get it for you.

New Season

So excitied, as I have now ordered the new Ray-Ban Sunglasses for this season. They should be arriving from the Italian factory in the next few days.
I have also ordered Ray-Ban Juniors.
As soon as I receive them all, I will photograph them and get them loaded up onto the SimplySuns website. So please keep an eye open and check the website over the next couple of weeks.
I am due to see other reps over the next week. I will be getting the new Ted Baker & Lulu Guinness ranges.
We are also going to do Persol this season and hopefully Prada.
Therefore, a very exciting range for SimplySuns this season.

Winter Sun

This weekend I went into my loft, in order to get down all my Christmas Decorations, to see what I had and what I need to buy!!. I also got all the ski stuff down. Yes, that season is nearly upon us again. I have to admit to being nervous at the lack of snow in the Alps. We are booked to go very early January. A lot of Resorts are due to open this coming weekend, so fingers crossed this cold spell we are beginning to experience will bring some snow across the Aline Slopes.
So here's a question - Do you ski with proper ski goggles or normal Sunglasses? Until last year I always skied with normal Sunglasses, but last year I switched to Goggles. I think this year I will alternate. On really lovely days I will probably wear my Ray-Bans,but switch to Goggles on dull, white out days.
What is your preference? We don't currently stock Ski Goggles on our website, but maybe we've missed a trick and should do it for next season???

Sunny Autumn

Another Week begins and still the Sun is shining hard - what a joy. I can't remember the last time it was this hot in October, certainly not in my life time.
However, the weather hasn't managed to convince the trees that it isn't Autumn. The leaves are still falling fast and everything is beginning to die back, it feels slightly surreal!!
I am now beginning to think about which Sunglasses to get for the Winter. I feel that they should be a slightly thicker, larger frame to go with those lovely warm jumpers and beautiful coats that I'm sure we will be in soon. The Sun can still be so powerfull in the Winter and I want to make sure I protrect my eyes, especially when driving and participating in any sport. Let me know what Sunglasses you like to wear in the Winter.
For this week though, I think I will keep to my Summer Sunglasses, of which I have several pairs, depending on my mood and outfit. Don't you just love Sunglasses? I think they can make you look and feel so good.

Sunglasses for an Indian Summer

Wow, I can't believe how gorgeous the weather is. Late September and we really are having a bit of an Indian Summer. It's hot, Sunny and clear blue skies. A friend of mine is taking full advantage of the rays and topping up on her sun tan - lucky her!!
As I write this I can't help but stop every couple of minutes, just to look out the window and make sure the sun is still there, and yes it is. It's enough to make you smile.
At this time of year the Sun is still very bright and sits quite low in the sky. So when driving you really ought to ensure you have a good pair of Sunglasses. We still have quite a lot on offer, so it's worth checking out the website (http://www.simplysuns.co.uk/) and treating yourself to a new pair of sunnies, to see you through the Autumn/Winter for those sunny days.

Sunglasses being worn by the stars!

Many Celebs have been seen wearing Ray-Bans this autumn. Jessica Alba looks really cool in the Gold Aviators (3025 001/33)
The Wayfarers (2140 & 2132) are still very popular with many stars, such as Mel C, Hilary Duff, Reese Witherspoon, Kylie, Gabrielle Union just to mention a few.
Also, the Clubmasters hold a lot of interest for stars such as Daniel Radcliffe and Seth Rogan.

Not long now till I meet with our Ray-Ban rep to see what next Summers range is. So exciting.

Having recently had the New York Fashion week and now being in the London Fashion Week, we are keeping a close eye on what sunglasses are around. Will keep you posted as to what is going to be hot in 2012

I have been meaning to set up a blog for sometime now, but to be totally honest with you, have been slightly nervous to do so. I have however, taken the bull by the horns and got on and done it. So here I am.
We are a website that sells Designer Sunglasses. I am therefore, happy that today is a lovely sunny day and I have already needed my Sunglasses for driving. Today I am wearing a rather lovely pair of deep red Ray-Ban Sunglasses.
Your Sunglasses can be such a statement as to who you are and how you feel. Like all accessories, you can change your sunglasses depending on your mood and outfit. So it is always advisable to have at least two or three different pairs.
